Summary: Jun was an interior designer for Remarkable Design Graphic Company, his life had been simple until he met Ohno – a perfectionist client who was very difficult to deal with. On the other hand, Jun eventually found out that Ohno was also a loving dad to his only son…
Warning: NC-17 at end of the story, you know the warning, beware of POV changes and memory jump
Jun touched the ring around his finger; it shone brightly under the sunlight which peered through the curtain of his working chamber. Ohno had proposed to him last night, in a fancy French restaurant with a candle between them and two glasses of whiskey.
Ohno was all nervous when he asked Jun to marry him, something which amused Jun but touched him at the same time. It had been six months since they lived together at Ohno’s house. It felt too natural for Jun to look at Ohno’s face when he woke up in the morning, seeing the man’s smile which calmed him in the best way possible.
Jun had started working as a freelance interior designer after resigning from the company he had built with Sho. Working from home was far more convenient for Jun since he could take care of Kazu at the same time. His clients were mostly the young entrepreneurs who wanted creative interior for their shops and none of them were as grumpy as Ohno (thanked God). Ohno had changed his unused room as Jun’s working chamber which he was very grateful for.
He hadn’t heard of Sho, but Okada had mentioned about him on his last visit to Ohno’s house. Sho seemed to find his right mind and finally realized his mistake to Aiba. They married with only document and waited for Aiba to deliver the baby. Jun was happy for both of them, but he didn’t have any intentions to call Sho or Aiba to congratulate them. He thought that it was better to leave them alone and hoped they would lead a happy life.
His relationship with Ohno was great; Jun had only known half of the man’s side when he first knew him, but living together for the last six months had thought Jun that Ohno was the most loving person he had ever met. Ohno would wake up earlier than him to make breakfast for them since Jun wasn’t a morning person. He would make sure that Kazu had arrived safely at his school before going to work. He would call to remind Jun every now and then to have proper lunch, regardless his busy schedule. The love Ohno poured had overwhelmed Jun and he wondered how that kind of loving man could turn into a monster before they met.
Jun glanced at the digital clock on his desk, it was 30 minutes past three in the afternoon. Kazu told him that he would be home around six that day because he needed to attend a cram school. Ohno meanwhile would be home earlier which would give them enough time for each other before Kazu came. He continued working on the last touch of his design and saved it before closing his laptop. He took his phone and gave Ohno a call.
“Hello, Jun,” Ohno answered immediately.
“What do you want for dinner, Satoshi?” Jun asked.
“Anything, is Kazu home?”
“He attends the cram school today,” Jun said. “He will be late and he said that he would have dinner with his friends.”
“He actually made friends, huh?” Ohno replied.
“He’s a good kid,” Jun answered, smiling. “Of course he makes real friends.”
“It’s all because of you, Jun. Thank you,” Ohno said.
Jun smiled as he heard that. “It’s because of Kazu’s great personality. I’m glad that I met him.”
“Therefore, I leave the dinner to you. You know that I will eat anything you cook for me.”
“Alright, see you home, Satoshi. I love you.”
“I love you too, Jun,” Ohno said and ended the call.
Jun glanced at the calendar on the wall, they decided to marry at the end of March and planned to have a honeymoon trip somewhere far. Kazu said that he would join a school trip after the graduation day for a week, so Jun and Ohno could enjoy their travel without feeling guilty towards the boy.
Jun was glad that Kazu actually made friends for the past six months. It seemed that he handled the issue very well and got accepted. Now he was a happy teenager who loved to brag about his school activities and never missed classes anymore. Kazu still loved to take pictures; Jun had accompanied him to Chiba last weekend to take photos at the fish market. He told Jun about his dream of becoming a professional photographer, something that he couldn’t tell Ohno because he probably didn’t like the idea.
The one who asked for Kazu’s blessing for their wedding was Ohno. Jun knew that Kazu liked him and enjoyed spending time together with him, but they still needed to talk with the teenager if they wanted to make their relationship official.
“I’m so happy if you really become my other dad,” Kazu told him yesterday when they had breakfast together. Ohno wasn’t with them since he had to attend the early meeting.
“Thanks, Kazu,” Jun said, offering the boy a broad smile.
“I don’t really understand love relationship between adults, but I think my dad becomes happier after you stay with us.”
Kazu’s blessing meant a lot to Jun. He never imagined marrying someone with a kid and he thought the situation would have been more complicated, but he was glad that he met Kazu before he met Ohno. Jun couldn’t help smiling when he recalled his meeting with Ohno which included the misunderstanding, the drama of his repeatedly rejected designs, their doubts when they had their first kiss at the hot spring inn and ended up in Aomori where they cleared everything between them.
Jun was glad by the result; he had made the right decision to be with Ohno and now he was the happiest man in the world for having a soon-to-be-husband like Ohno and a son like Kazu.
He walked towards the kitchen and started preparing dinner. Ohno and Kazu loved his pasta and he was sure that they would never complain if he cooked the same thing every day. But Jun was too creative, he always made something different and he was amused to see Ohno and Kazu’s expression when they enjoyed the food.
The knock on his door woke him up from his run of thoughts. Jun wiped his hands from the dough and approached the door. He opened and saw Ohno’s face, smiling at him.
“Welcome home, Satoshi.”
“You are the best with an apron around your waist,” Ohno said, kissing him on his lips.
“Really? Should I wear it only without anything else?” Jun asked, teasing.
“That’s the best idea I’ve heard so far,” Ohno replied, closing the door behind him. “But you can’t do that in front of our teenager.”
Jun chuckled and left Ohno towards the kitchen. He finished mixing the salad and brought it to the dining table. They enjoyed their dinner which consists of curry rice and two cans of beer. When they finished eating, Ohno opened the conversation about their wedding plan. Ohno basically agreed with Jun’s idea, but he added a few details like what kind of interior design he wanted for the reception party or what kind of color would match the decoration.
“I love purple,” Jun said, handing Ohno the design he had made on his laptop.
Ohno took it, the usual critical expression across his face but then it changed into a smile. “It’s perfect, I love it. Why don’t you add some blue colors here?” he pointed towards the curtains.
“Okay,” Jun answered, making a little note on the design. “Is this your new way of criticizing my work?”
“Of course not,” Ohno gave him an innocent smile. “I would never do that to the love of my life.”
Jun laughed and extended his hands to give Ohno a soft pinch on his cheeks.
***
Jun and Ohno went to the wedding planner on weekend to talk about details. They wanted a simple concept, but enough to leave an impression on their guests. They invited around thirty people so far which consisted of their immediate family. Jun’s grandmother would presence; she was all excited about the wedding and told Jun that she would bring him a bunch of apples as gift.
“Don’t give me that nervous look,” Ohno said. They walked side by side towards the building where they would meet the wedding planner.
“Don’t talk to me,” Jun replied. He was all tensed up for the past few days; a syndrome which Ohno called wedding blue and Jun never thought the thing really existed until he experienced himself.
“It’s just a meeting with a wedding planner, relax,” Ohno patted his shoulder in a comforting way.
“You’re surprisingly insensitive, Satoshi,” Jun snapped. “Listen, what if everything goes wrong? What if our suits don’t fit? What if the cook suddenly missing? What if there’s nobody attends?”
Ohno’s brows furrowed, but then he smiled weakly. “You’re overthinking.”
“Just... don’t talk to me,” Jun said, walking ahead of Ohno with a scowl on his face. He would blame Ohno if there was something wrong on their wedding day, came to think of it, he had blamed Ohno for everything for the past three days. He tried to make his face neutral in front of Kazu, though.
The wedding planner was a middle-aged woman named Nakama Yukie. She welcomed them with a bright smile on her lips. She patiently listened to Jun’s explanation and gave her comments after Jun finished. She had handled many weddings before and told Jun that the anxiety before the big day was normal. She ensured him that everything would be perfect.
“Feel better now?” Ohno asked him when they left Nakama’s office towards the junk food restaurant nearby. Jun usually didn’t eat fast food, but now, he really wanted to enjoy a big portion of fried chicken.
“No, not until I eat something,” Jun said.
“You’re cute when you lose control of your coolness,” Ohno commented, giggling at him.
“I don’t see anything funny, Satoshi,” he replied.
“Okay, okay, let’s get some lunch and cure your mood,” Ohno grabbed his hand and guided the way.
Jun’s mood finally got better after eating the most wanted fried chicken. He slid out his phone from his pocket and sent a short message to Kazu, asking how his day was. Kazu was out of town for a study trip, something he never did before. Jun had made him a bunch of onigiris, ignoring the boy’s protest that he couldn’t eat them all.
“You know, sometimes I think that you need more kids to take care of,” Ohno said all of a sudden.
Jun put down the phone and looked at Ohno; they never really talked about having kids between them. He didn’t want Kazu to feel abandoned when he and Ohno had kids on their own.
“Have you talked with Kazu about it?” Jun asked.
“He’ll be glad to have a sister or brother,” Ohno replied.
“We’d better ask him properly how he feels about it,” Jun said. He honestly wanted to have more kids with Ohno, regardless how they would keep them busy.
“You’re always careful. Did you think like this when you fled to Aomori?”
“It’s different,” Jun averted his gaze away from Ohno. “You’re a complicated person, to begin with, I needed more time to consider.”
Ohno chuckled, “Sorry.”
“I don’t deny that sometimes I wanted to curse you into a frog when you said horrible things about my designs,” Jun said, smiling.
“Ouch, it’s better than cursing me into a cockroach,” Ohno replied. “Do you want to go for a date?” he asked.
“No,” Jun shook his head. “I want to go back home and have a homey date with you.”
Ohno gave him a smug face and nodded. “As you wish, Your Majesty,” he said, taking Jun’s hand as both of them left the restaurant.
***
Ohno awakened by the sound of birds chirping and rays of sunlight seeping through the closed curtains. It took several minutes for Ohno before he could finally recognize the room he was in, also the heaviness that was trapping his right arm at that moment. He, or they, as he aware was Jun’s head who was pillowed on his right arm, were at that moment in a renewed ryokan with private onsen, all the way to Lake Kawaguchi.
He felt Jun turned on his arm, and that man now laid on his back. His loosened tie yukata was sliding off his shoulder, revealing reddish mark around his porcelain white neck. Ohno couldn’t feel anything but proud, knowing he was the one putting them there. He turned on his side, watching Jun’s chest raised and fell as he breathed slowly in his sleep. Slowly and carefully, Ohno adjusted the blanket around Jun’s body, afraid the man might catch a cold.
It still felt surreal for Ohno to realized that this amazing man, Matsumoto Jun, had said yes to his proposal, agreed to spend the rest of their life forever, promised him that they would together raised Kazu. It was still beyond his imagination that they finally got married after all those married blues and all the dramas in between. They had finally stood at the altar, in front of those people that matter to them, namely Jun’s grandma, Okada and Aoi, and of course the ring boy, Kazu. Ohno lifted his right hand, grinning as he saw the simple band of gold on his ring finger. It was just the day before yesterday that Jun wore the ring there, he hadn’t used to see its glimpse yet, but it still made him jump in joy in his mind.
~~~
“I… I… wanna talk to you about something,” Ohno remembered how he was so nervous when he faced his son one afternoon around three months ago. He had managed to convince Jun to live with them for the past months, heck, he even changed his working area to Jun's office as the man decided to go freelance, which Ohno grateful for, meaning Jun won't work with Sakurai again. But still what he wanted to talk to his son was somehow completely new to him. It was new to find his son was now able to hear his worry, and it was also new for him to treat his son as his own friend, however, what he wanted to ask now was not a friend would ask.
“Are you okay Dad? You look pale, and stop picking on the thread on your pajamas, Jun-san will scold you if you tear another pair.” Kazu stopped Ohno’s hands from pulling the loose thread of his pajamas, true, Jun would scold him for that.
“Speaking of Jun-san, what...what you think of him?” Decided to play as a father, Ohno folded his hands on his chest, trying hard to look intimidating while he could feel his own heart jump inside his ribcage.
“What do I think of him? Dad, he's my closest friend even before you know him. I don't understand your question.” Kazu raised his eyebrows perfectly, making Ohno questioning if his son had taken the habit from Jun.
“You see… Jun-san and I… I… I want… I want to…”
“You want to marry him. That's what you want to say right?” Kazu cut his words quickly with a knowing smirk.
“You… how you…” Ohno shook his head, he had more important conversation in mind. “So, what you think of it?”
“You'll be the most stupid man, and father if you haven't married Jun-san already.” Kazu closed his algorithm book and leaned towards him seriously. “Really dad, you’d better marry him before someone else did.”
So, with such blessings and Jun's 'Yes’ even after Ohno almost spilled half his soup, making his steak flew across the restaurant, and panic when he realized the ring was not on his box but forgot that he actually asked the pastry chef to put it inside Jun's lava cake, that man still said yes. That was when all new wedding drama began and ended when they have announced husbands.
***
Ohno turned to his side, raised a little to see his husband, still couldn’t believe he could call the other like that, sleeping soundlessly aside than soft snore every now and then. Morning subtle hair was lining on his jaw, leaving a bluish pattern on it. He smiled sheepishly, leaning over and nipping the patterns slowly, smelling Jun original odor, free from expensive perfume or those stack of body care. He inhaled deeply, feeling Jun head stirred under his lips. A hand finally patting his head slowly, signing the man finally awoke.
“Satoshi, what're you doing?” Jun grunted a little, rather roughly pulled his head by the hair. He chuckled though, knowing his husband always hated the morning time.
“Good morning baby, but it's noon now,” he whispered into Jun's ear, having him shivered slightly. He didn't know how many time he had spent loving and admiring Jun body but it still not enough, he wondered if he ever got bored in making love to Jun. But his wandering hands were stopped as Jun pushed him aside abruptly, running to an adjacent toilet in the room. It didn't take another second for Satoshi to jump on the same direction, worriedly calling after the man.
It was a shock to see Jun slumped on the toilet floor, throwing up what it seemed last night ramen. Ohno quickly sat behind him, stroking Jun back slowly only to be pushed away a minute after.
“Go, it's disgusting,” Jun whined, pushing him away slowly, but Ohno refused to do it, he returned to his previous place and continued his stroking on Jun’s back.
“What's wrong Jun? Are you okay?” Ohno flushed the toilet when he was sure Jun had emptied his stomach and now laid limply in his arms.
“There must be something wrong with the shrimp or clamp, my stomach feels weird,” Jun answered, letting Ohno dapped damp towel on his face, getting rid the sweat and droll.
“Come on, let's get you back to the bed.” He lifted Jun carefully, carrying him bridal style. He remembered his promise to Jun's grandmother when he took the old lady to a dance on their wedding reception.
~~~
“Thank you for coming along the way from Aomori, it means a lot to us,” Ohno said, twirling the lady carefully, adjusting his speed with her slow movement. Though he was too late to know the lady, Ohno knew how much the lady meant to Jun.
“Ah, it was me who should thank you.” The lady smiled, looking at the direction where Jun was dancing with Kazu. “It was thanks to you that he can smile so happily as today. Our Jun can be very stubborn, but please take care of him.”
Ohno remembered how his smile mirrored what Jun had on his face that time. It was also Jun who brought smiles and laughter back to his house. And he intended to keep it that way for a very long time ahead.
“I promise grandmother.”
***
“How're you feeling?” Ohno put the tray he brought beside Jun's bed. Slowly raising him after he left the man to sleep. It was really late at noon and already way past lunch time. He asked their lunch to be brought into his room, so he could take care of his husband.
“Here, try this one.” Ohno brought the chicken soup bowl near Jun's lips, gently spoon it for Jun to sips. It was almost too late for him to notice coriander leaves floating on it. But what surprised him, Jun sipped the soup greedily despite the fact he usually hated coriander. It wasn't long before Jun finished everything on his tray, much to Satoshi's surprised.
“I feel better now. Aren't I lucky to have such caring husband.” Jun pecked his lip, this time his face now returned to his original color.
“Don't scare me like that, please.” Satoshi held him close. Pecking the sweat running down Jun's neck.
“Iuh, I really feel bad, I wanna take a bath now.”
It didn't take long for Satoshi to strip Jun naked, cleaned him under the shower before he settled himself behind Jun in the wide private open-air onsen in his room. He massaged Jun shoulder gently, silently counting the marks on Jun's back.
“I'm sorry.” Satoshi almost missed hearing the whisper. “What for?”
“I ruined the last day of our honeymoon, didn't I?” Jun pulled his hand circling his slim waist.
It was indeed their long-awaited honeymoon, Satoshi was sure, Jun was as excited as he was and being sick was never on his list. They were supposed to go tracking the waterfall but that plan was canceled after Jun unhealthy condition that morning.
“No, you're not ruining anything, being with you anywhere and anytime is always a honeymoon.” Satoshi smiled on Jun's shoulder.
“Your image didn't suit you being this cheesy Satoshi, don't show it to anyone else or nobody will take you seriously.” Jun laughed, snuggling deeper into Satoshi's embrace, carelessly throwing his head backward, exposing his neck.
“So, I'm cheesy now? Better than a monster, but cheesy?” Satoshi's hand wandered to Jun's slim waist, finding his ticklish point and attacking it, making Jun squirm with laughter, water splashing everywhere but no one cared.
Until Jun caught his hand and turned his head around, the passion was clearly seen on his look, an invitation that Satoshi didn't waste any second to accept.
He kissed Jun hungrily, his dick was awakened and interested in Jun's squirming body in front of him, which he didn't try to hide anymore. As he deepened his kiss, sucking Jun tongue into his mouth, his hands had their own goal, one went to Jun's half hard dick, and one to his protruding nipple. He pressed himself forward, giving his hot erection a pressure as he squeezed it between Jun's butt crack, moving his hips so slowly, teasing the other man into the game.
Ohno was almost losing his rhythm when Jun moved his own hips, pressing it backwards trapping him between the warm onsen wall and Jun's broader body. After a while, his hands had another goal, he stroked Jun's thighs slowly, feeling the man surrendered as he circled his own arms around Ohno's head who didn't wait to prayed Jun's legs open. Teasingly, Ohno stroked the soft skin inside Jun's thigh. Lazily making an unseen pattern with the tips of his fingers, going upward until he got to Jun's twitching hole. Ohno inserted one finger easily into the warm hole, swallowing Jun sighed when he did that.
“You sure this is fine?” Ohno tried to ask although he couldn’t be sure he could hold himself if Jun said no at the moment. Jun gripped Ohno hand with a finger inside him, moving his own hips on the finger. “I'm fine, but don't be too hard.”
That was the only assurance Ohno needed before he inserted another finger. The onsen warm water helped him relaxing Jun up that it didn't take long until he had third fingers fucking Jun's hole, while his other hand also busily stroking the man's dick. It felt so good to see Jun's opened mouth, hearing his breaths caught one another and his eyes fluttered closed. It was good for Ohno, a proof that he was the only one that could make the fully control Jun became a mess in his hand.
When it was no longer bearable for him, he turned Jun to face him, making the man straddle his lap which he did gladly. He looked at Jun's eyes as the man lowered himself on to Ohno hard rod. He sucks on Jun's neck, adding more mark on that porcelain white when his dick slowly enveloped in Jun's warmth. He stopped when he was buried till the hilt, waiting for Jun to adjust. When he did, he fulfilled his promise to Jun, starting to move ever so slowly. Using his smaller frame, his lips attacked one of Jun's nipple, sucking it into his mouth, breastfeeding from it though he knew nothing would come out. But it was Jun whine and slow movement of his hips that made Ohno lost himself, thrusting upward, deeper into Jun's hole, slowly stroking the warmth until he found Jun hidden spot and pounding on it slowly, making Jun lost his own patience and meeting his thrust with his own.
It wasn't long before Jun ride him through his orgasm, it was when Ohno thought Jun was the most beautiful at that moment. With his mouth opened wide, eyes closed tightly, his fingers dug deep into his back, and Jun's hole squeezing his dick deeper, he shot his load between their bodies, dirtying the water but it was the most beautiful Jun for Ohno to see, enough to get himself a release deep inside Jun until the man collapsed on to him, his arms circling his shoulder while the man himself sniffing on his neck, boneless as Ohno hot load filling him.
They stay there for a while with Ohno peppering kisses all over Jun skin that he could reach despite the koala hug he had. When he felt Jun sleepily sighing, he braced the man, getting up from the onsen, carefully walked to the bed after gripping another clean towel he had prepared before. They didn't say anything as Ohno toweled Jun dry, receiving loving stare from the man, tucked him back into the bed and softly whispered into Jun's ear, 'I love you’.
***
The shinkansen that morning was almost empty, which made it convenient for Jun who kept coming to the toilet, emptying his breakfast again. This time Satoshi got more worry, he had tried to bring the man to see a doctor before their trip home, but Jun refused it, reasoning Kazu had been waiting for them home. The throwing up session finally finished when Ohno shoved camomile tea on Jun's hand, calming his nerves and made him sleep on the rest of the trip. Ohno quickly took his phone which vibrated in his pocket, seeing Line message from Kazu
'Is Massan alright? He didn't reply in our group.’
Ohno replied quickly, reporting Jun condition so their son won't be worried. It was another surprised when Kazu reply 'will I get a baby brother or baby sister?’
That was never crossed Ohno mind, he really thought it was just a wrong eating, but Kazu’s message brought him hope and bright smile. He looked at Jun who curled beside him, hugging his arms tightly. Ohno put his phone away, and with his free hand, he stroked Jun's belly, is it true?
They arrived at Tokyo station soon, Ohno was busily dragging their two luggage, helping Jun getting on the elevator they needed to take to get out of the station and caught a taxi. His action brought raised of Jun's elegant eyebrows. “What exactly are you doing? Let me bring my own suitcase.”
“I'm fine, don't worry, look out your step, we're almost at the end of the elevator, be careful.” Ohno’s worrisome was answered with soft shakes of Jun's head. He took Jun's hand, aware of people were staring at the man, his man. He knew he was being unreasonable possessive, but he didn't find anything wrong with showing a little ownership he thought. Jun, on the other hand, was just smiling seeing his actions, he didn't refuse but entwined their fingers together, Jun ring poked into Satoshi's hand, his smile was full of proudness until a voice stopped their steps.
“Matsujun?” An unsure tone made them turn around. They saw Aiba was standing behind a baby stroller. Ohno could see Jun's face changing from a surprise to a polite smile.
“Aiba-san, long time no see. How old is your baby now?” Jun asked, slowly crouched down to see the baby better, who was looking back at the man.
“He's almost eight months now, but bigger than kids his age.” Aiba chuckled.
“Where are you going?” Aiba’s question wasn't answered yet because someone came rushing towards them, with a bottle of milk in his hand.
“Sorry Masaki, I can't find the hot water around here… Jun?”
Ohno hid his smile when he saw Sakurai’s words was stopped to see the one that was holding his baby’s hand were Jun.
“And Ohno-san, what a coincidence to see you two here.” The man got his composure quickly.
“How're you? It's been sometimes.” Ohno extended his hand and it was obvious how Sho was eyeing his wedding ring and Jun's as the man also stood up and shook their hands.
“Hello Sho-san, I was about to say your baby look a lot like you.” Jun chuckled, Ohno could see Sakurai still felt uneasy around them but Jun on contrary, was all calm and easy. Sakurai laughed nervously, lifting up the baby who started to cry for the bottle milk that Sakurai was holding. That was their cue to say their goodbye, and again, their hands finding each other easily.
“Their baby is so cute,” Jun said when they're sitting in the taxi. Ohno smiled at him waiting for his next words, showing the text Kazu sent a couple of hours ago. He couldn’t help his laughter when he saw Jun's reddened face. But his laughter stopped when Jun shoved him little box into his hand. A simple thing box with ‘+’ sign on it.
“So, who do you think this one will look after?” Jun leaned on his shoulder, giving Satoshi access to stroke his still flattened belly. “Anyone is fine, as long as you're the carrying father, I'm sure I will love each of them.”
He couldn’t wait until they were home so they could formally inform Kazu. Ohno just eagerly waiting to see how his family would grow more after this with Jun by his side. Ohno kissed Jun awaiting lips, seeing loving stare and sharing 'I love you' to each other.
